• June cattle on feed numbers are the highest they have been since 2007. That tells me that herd expansion continues -- and that we have not yet seen the bottom of this cattle cycle.

• It is a vicious circle. Flies will eventually develop a resistance to all insecticides -- old and new. Insecticides are only treating the symptoms of the problem. Genetic selection for fly resistance will solve the problem.
