We have been selling 20 to 30 bulls to Canadian customers for the last two or three years. Many Canadian cow-calf producers know they need to make the transition from high-input ranching to low-input ranching.
As we announced in December, we now have a PCC® program in Canada – with two cooperative herds. Our original plan was to sell our 2025-born Angus and Hereford bulls as two-year-olds in the spring of 2027. For several reasons, we have changed our original plan.
We have decided to virtually sell the first set of Canadian bulls this fall in conjunction with our Montana Bull Sale. They will sell ahead of the Montana bulls. We will set up times to see the bulls in person prior to the sale.
