#188 – How Many Cows Per Bull?

One of the most common questions asked is, “How many cows can a bull breed?” Kit Pharo says forage-developed bulls can breed twice as many cows for twice as many years compared to status quo grain-fed feedlot bulls. Here’s a couple reasons why.

    I’ve been using PCC bulls for 25 years or more in SE NC. 1– 18 month old breeds 46 out of 50 or more cows in 55 days and gains weight while breeding and they do it for years and years with no special or high energy feed just Coastal, Rays crazy mix, Fescue, Millet and Crab grass.

    That’s a great testimonial, Amos. Kit says I have not come close to testing the limits of a PCC bull yet.
