Out of Pharo-based cows backed by more than 20 years of Pharo genetics and sired by Pharo bulls. These are low-input, easy-fleshing maternal genetics selected for fertility and longevity, with an expected mature weight of 1,200–1,250 pounds.
Purchased from one ranch in southwest Kansas and run on native grass all summer. The ranch typically retains all its heifers as replacements; these were sold only because of drought conditions. This is the best 55 selected out of the original 85 head.
Ready to turn bulls in with for fall calvers, or hold them over and develop them into mature spring-calving heifers.
