I had a speaking engagement in Enid, Oklahoma, last Wednesday. On our way home, we zig-zagged across the southwest corner of Kansas. It was past lunch time and we were getting hungry, so we slowed down at a small town called Johnson City.
We turned onto Main Street and drove into town. We stopped at a quaint little café called Wholly Cow Market. It boasted “100% Grass-Fed and Finished Beef.” It also boasted “Guaranteed Customer Satisfaction.” We were served generous portions of great food – within an inviting environment.
While waiting on my order, I wandered around and read a few newspaper clippings about the family that started this business – Matt and Michelle Canny. I thought, “I recognize that name.” When I got home, I looked up the name. I discovered that they have purchased 11 PCC® bulls in the last 10 years.
