#140 – Grazing vs Feeding Hay

In our main cowherd, we’ve cut back from feeding hay for five months to only one month. The goal is 100% grazing with hay only for weather emergencies. That’s the quickest way to cut costs and promote herd health. I’m not there yet, but headed in the right direction, and closer to my goal than I was last year.
