#123 – Fleshing Ability

If you raise your own replacement heifers, one of the most important economic traits to look for in a herd sire is fleshing ability. Cattle with good fleshing ability will gain condition quickly, maintain it longer, breed more reliably, and do more with lesser quality feed.
