Many Canadian cow-calf producers “Get It.” They know they need to make the transition from high-input ranching to low-input ranching. In spite of a terrible dollar exchange rate, there has been tremendous Canadian interest in our bulls and our program. Last year, we sent 22 bulls to Canada. This year, we are sending a total of 28. We currently have 22 PCC® bulls being prepared for export to five Canadian provinces.
Special Announcement: Dave Gwyn, a longtime PCC Cooperative Producer from Colorado, sold his entire registered Angus cowherd to Ross MacDonald in Saskatchewan this past spring. This cowherd produced the leadoff bulls for our recent Colorado Bull Sale. Cody McDaniel, a longtime PCC Cooperative Producer from Montana, sold some of his registered Red Angus cows to Ross after weaning this fall. Portions of these two herds are pictured below.

The first annual Pharo Cattle Company® bull sale in Canada is scheduled for the spring of 2027. We will be selling two-year-old bulls that will be developed on grass and other forages. We are very excited about this program! This will make it easier to help Canadian cow-calf producers make the transition from high-input ranching to low-input ranching.
