The status quo beef industry’s incessant selection for more frame, more growth and more milk has created tall, slab-sided, flat-muscled, hard-keeping bulls that resemble solid-colored Holstein steers. Where’s the BEEF?

Pharo Cattle Company® has thick, easy-fleshing, heavy-muscled bulls that can BEEF-UP your cattle, as well as your profits. We’re not going to cheat you on pounds. We’re just gonna put those pounds in a different package – a package with extra thickness, muscling and fleshing ability. Our fleshing ability has been bred in – NOT fed in!

Quote Worth Re-Quoting

Failure isn’t fatal, but failure to change might be.” ~ John Wooden

Ground Beef Prices

The average price of ground beef rose to $6.12 per pound in June – up from $5.98 in May. This is the first time ground beef has ever averaged over $6.00 per pound.

Ironically… the cure for high beef prices will make the prices go even higher. Beef prices are at record-high levels because cow numbers are at record low levels. As cow numbers increase, the number of animals harvested for beef will decrease. This will cause beef prices to continue to increase… for a while.
