PCC™ Heat-Tolerant bulls are very adaptable. They can handle extreme heat and humidity. They can also handle a little cold and snow. The Heat-Tolerant bull pictured below lives in southern Mississippi, just 15 miles from the Gulf Coast. The temperature got down to 10 degrees. This bull combines the genetics of three different breeds – Mashona, Romosinuano and Red Angus. PCC™ customer, Keith King, took this picture last week.

There will be 59 grass-developed Heat-Tolerant bulls cataloged for our upcoming Texas Sale. These bulls are extremely heat tolerant and parasite resistant, even though they have no Brahman influence. Compared to Brahman-cross cattle, our Heat-Tolerant cattle are much more marketable. They also excel in efficiency (pounds per acre), fertility and meat quality. Believe it or not, a whopping 68% of the Heat-Tolerant bulls in our Texas Sale are Tenet® Certified.
