The world, so it seems, is full of shortsighted cattlemen. Shortsighted cattlemen refuse to consider the future when making management decisions. They refuse to acknowledge the world is constantly changing. They will continue to make decisions based on the past – and they will continue to blame the markets, the weather, and/or the government for their lack of success. In reality, they have no one to blame but themselves.

We need to make good decisions in a timely fashion. Our decisions must be based on the future – NOT the past. Nothing stays the same. We need to be proactive in making our decisions – NOT reactive. Cattlemen who are slow to make decisions will eventually be forced to sell out or to subsidize their business with outside income. At that point, they will no longer have a business!

More Than Bulls

Pharo Cattle Company does much more than just sell bulls. We provide a program and a way of thinking that are focused on increasing pounds and profit per acre – in good times and in not-so-good times. Our ultra-low-maintenance bulls are just one part of this program. There is a reason our customers are the most profitable cow-calf producers in the world.
