Prior to Zim Bob, Tarzan was the most heavily used Mashona bull in the PCC program. We used him on some of our thick, easy-fleshing Red Angus cows. The results have been very impressive! Check out our Diamond bull on the next page. The proof is in the pudding! Tarzan has also been used by Steven Lukefahr in his heat-tolerant program in south Texas. Tarzan is co-owned with D Bar 7 Ranch in Indiana and Walker Cattle Company in Missouri.

PCC Breed Selection
Not every breed has the type of cattle that can meet the requirements established by our philosophy. We have studied many different breeds to find cattle with the biological type most suited to our environment and our philosophies. Our focus has always been on low-maintenance cattle with strong maternal traits. Our seedstock program includes Red Angus, Black Angus, Hereford, Tarentaise, Mashona, as well as Composites of these breeds.
