Real McCoy is the real deal! He is a 20-star Ruger son out of a Rebel daughter. Real McCoy is an extremely thick, heavymuscled bull that has produced many, many outstanding, fault-free sons and daughters. We lead off many of our bull sales with a set of Real McCoy sons. His birth weight and calving ease direct EPDs are both in the top 1/2 of 1% of the Angus breed. His maintenance energy EPD is also in the top 2%. Real McCoy is co-owned with the Flying S Ranch in Kansas.

Not every breed has the type of cattle that can meet the requirements established by our philosophy. We have studied many different breeds to find cattle with the biological type most suited to our environment and our philosophies. Our focus has always been on low-maintenance cattle with strong maternal traits. Our seedstock program includes Red Angus, Black Angus, Hereford, Tarentaise, Mashona, as well as Composites of these breeds.
