Several months ago, Pablo Sturzenbaum and his wife Paola Imberti from Argentina requested a ranch tour at PCC™ Headquarters in early November. Pablo is a veterinarian and Paola is a grazing agronomist. They have clients that can benefit greatly from Pharo philosophies and genetics.
Two months ago, Zoltan Lengyel, a beef producer and grazing guru from Hungary, requested a ranch tour and an interview with me in early November. Since November is our Bull-Sale Marathon month, I invited all of them to attend our Colorado Bull Sale – and I promised a ranch tour the day after the sale.
They were very impressed with our grass-developed Solar Bulls and our unique Cowboy Auction. They enjoyed visiting with our producers and customers before, during and after the sale. I was blessed to spend a few hours with them yesterday on a ranch tour. We looked at the PCC cowherd, the bred heifers and the herd sires. They were very impressed with how fat and healthy our animals looked with so little to eat.
My take away message…
As screwed up as America has become, it is still the best place to live! I didn’t have to spend much time with my visitors to know that I would not want to live in Hungary or Argentina. Americans should STOP whining and complaining – and START counting their blessings!
