WEBSITE FORMS

Forms on our website are a primary way that we collect customer information. We  retain this information locally at our headquarters as well as in an off-site database, which is required to perform any services requested (such as receiving our catalogs, or our email or print newsletters), and for direct contact with you.

COMMENTS

If you leave a comment on our site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also your IP address and information sent by your browser (eg. user agent string) to help spam detection.

The comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

REGISTERED USERS

If you have an account on this site, eg. as a classifieds ad author or to participate in the PCC Discussion Group, we store the personal information you provide in your user profile.  All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username).  Website administrators can also see and edit that information. Account information is stored indefinitely.

CLASSIFIED ADS

When you complete the form to submit an ad of your own to us, the information you enter is stored for the duration of your ad and up to 2 years past the ad expiration date.  You can request we delete your information sooner by contacting us via phone or email.

Additionally, if you have a site account to login and publish classified ads as as a classifieds ad author, the previous section on Registered Users applies.

PCC DISCUSSION GROUP

​If you post in our private discussion area, your post and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so others can read and comment on your post.

MEDIA

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included.  Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.  Images uploaded to our site are retained indefinitely, though you can delete them from the media library to remove them if you have an account on our site (if you do not, eg. by listing a classified ad without an author account, you can contact us to request deleting/replacing an image).

COOKIES

Our website uses cookies for various purposes as described in our Cookie Policy.  The cookies themselves can be managed in your web browser settings.

ANALYTICS

We use Google Analytics to track and report website usage to help us improve our site and services.  Google’s privacy policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

EMBEDDED CONTENT FROM OTHER WEBSITES

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.).  Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

We share your data with our web hosting providers.  This includes all data in our website database and files, including backup copies, and all website logs.

EMAIL

We share your data with email service providers when emails are sent and received which contain your data.

EMAIL LISTS

If you request to be added to any of our mailing lists, we share your name and email address with our mailing list service provider.

PRINT NEWSLETTER AND CATALOGS

If you receive any of our catalogs or our printed newsletter, we may share your name and address with a fulfillment company to have a copy shipped to you.

CONTRACTORS

We share your data with contractors where required for their service, such as our web, application and database developers.

ONLINE SERVICES

We share your data with providers of online services we utilize for website security and spam scanning.

PURCHASES
